MTHD 8003 Assignment Coding the Answers You Collected ย Student Name Franklin University MGMTย  8003 Professor Name Date Report on the Coding Process This paper presents the coding procedure followed when categorizing the gathered qualitative data on the provision of telehealth services to the elderly. The coding process includes defining themes and patterns of respondentsโ€™ answers to several questions on their experiences with telehealthย (White et al., 2022). Six questions in total were examined and the answers were grouped into unique code categories. Number of Codes Categorization of codes by six questions produced 25 discrete codes in total. These codes cover a wide range of concerns such as convenience, technology problems, limitations and recommendations on adjustments. Frequencies of Codes The most common code that arose frequently in the questions was โ€œConvenienceโ€ which was shown as telehealthโ€™s benefit of saving time according to the respondents. Engagement was also seen which expressed that some users were disinclined to use the services of telehealth so far others shared positive experiences from their sideย (Liptrott et al., 2020). The need for telehealth to be easier to use or more basic was seen when the respondents were asked. How can telehealth be improved for elderly patients, some of the answers assumed comprise Technology Improvement and Simplified Navigation (TISIM).ย  Discussion of Findings The findings show that people are grateful for the telehealth service based on the time and cost-saving options. However, they remain suspicious about the quality of telehealth services in contrast to the face-to-face interaction within the code scepticism. For elderly patients, respondents also reported many issue areas revolving around technology and wayfinding which is why technology improvement and simplified interface were frequently mentionedย (Son, 2022). The respondents hold a positive perception concerning telehealth services and only 4% of the respondents expressed that they would not recommend other elder persons to use those services. We also classified some of the cases as conditional recommendations, where several users stated that telehealth is appropriate if there are enough technological resources accessible. Conclusion The analysis further confirmed that telehealth is perceived as a useful modality to administer care in elderly patients but the technology and usability must be advanced. This preliminary study forms the groundwork for a future examination of how the concept of telehealth services can be developed to deliver effective services to elderly patients. MTHD 8003 Assignment Final Research Paper

MTHD 8003 Assignment Final Research Paper Student Name Franklin University MGMT 8003 Professor Name Date Final Research Paperย  The integration of telehealth in home healthcare for elderly patients and it is important because telehealth offers significant potential to improve healthcare access and convenience for elderly patients. But challenges such as technology barriers must be addressed to ensure its effectiveness and accessibility. The topic of this paper focuses on the use of telehealth in home healthcare settings for elderly patients. It explores the challenges elderly patients face when using telehealth services, such as technological difficulties, and how these issues impact the quality of care and patient satisfaction. The problem statement addresses the need to enhance telehealth services to better accommodate elderly patients’ needs, ensuring they can access and benefit from remote healthcare effectively. This assessment will examine existing challenges, identify patterns in patient experiences and propose solutions to optimize telehealth for elderly populations in home healthcare environments. Research Problem Telehealthcare has become one of the significant solutions in the system of healthcare services. It is especially significant after the COVID-19 pandemic because the infected elder individuals can get professional help and needed medical assistance without going out. The elderly are likely to encounter unique barriers to telehealth options, such as technology dilemmas and limited trust in remote results and services. The research problem of this study is to assess how these challenges affect the quality and satisfaction of elderly patients within home healthcare. This research aims to prove a conceptual framework that can help in improving the solutions that are related to telehealth services for elderly patients. It emphasizing the improvement of telehealth services, accessibility, experience and patient satisfaction with the services provided. Three research questions are: What impact has telehealth had on the quality of healthcare received by elderly patients under home health services? What are the key barriers presented to elderly patients who wish to use telehealth?ย  What can be done to make telehealth services more available to people and more satisfying for patients? The findings of this study will be useful to healthcare practitioners and policymakers to understand how telehealth could be made useful to the elders who are the most vulnerable but can benefit a lot from remote care. Relevant Background of the Research Site This study aims to explore the implementation of telehealth among elderly patients who require home healthcare services in which the use of telehealth has grown. Due to their immobility and a regular necessity for healthcare services, elderly patients can reap several advantages from using telehealth. The idea of using telehealth in this population is not very agreeable due to issues including the increased use of technology and unfamiliarity with devices. They examine home healthcare contexts in which patients receive various services including periodic check-ups, long-term condition checks and telemedicine among others. Telehealth can be described as having the potential to enhance the available or available healthcare for those who may not be able to attend demanding in-clinic visits. This work will highlight the areas of limitation and research gaps that must be filled to enhance the delivery of telehealth for elderly patients. Although previous telehealth studies indicate that technology should be easy to use, elderly patients require education. It caregivers should provide better support, so that healthcare can be delivered remotely. Research Design and Methods The current study employed a qualitative paradigm to gain insight into the encounters and challenges of telehealth services for elderly patients, caregivers, and healthcare givers in-home care(Vincent et al., 2022). Telehealth is a complex and personal issue and the choice of a qualitative approach to assess its adoption is justified. The most common means of data collection adopted in this study was the use of the open-ended questionnaire that was completed by elderly patients and healthcare professionals with direct use of telehealth. The open-systems theory was used to analyze the use of telehealth services by elderly patients. This theory sees healthcare as a system that strongly operates concerning its environment, and conditions such as technology and patient education that affect the systemโ€™s performance(Vincent et al., 2022). It is by considering this interaction that the study seeks to identify ways through which the telehealth system can be enhanced to suit the needs of elderly patients. Data Collection Plan The data collection strategy for this study was developed with an emphasis on surveying elderly patients, carers and other healthcare workers having experience with telehealth in home care(Watt et al., 2021). I used Google Forms to administer open-ended surveys from which the data was gathered. Telehealth experience, frequency of use, barriers, and recommendations are experiences that participants were asked to share. The questions in the survey were of structured and unstructured form to enable an extensive collection of the views of both parties. Key open-ended questions included: There it is possible to understand which aspects were found most useful or problematic.ย  Telehealth services can be reduced and increased depending on the needs of the elderly patient, and how can they become more effective for the clients(Khoshrounejad et al., 2021). The data collection process took several weeks to capture a sufficient number of respondents with various levels of familiarity with telehealth. Data Collection Instruments The primary source of data collection employed in this study was a questionnaire that was aimed at providing more qualitative data about the participantsโ€™ telehealth experiences(Ghorayeb et al., 2021). This instrument was intended to be easy to use because many elderly patients may find it difficult to deal with gadgets. It began with a brief questionnaire, conducted through Google Forms, in which participants could provide extensive feedback on the specific services that they received through telehealth. The instrument was designed to capture the following: Frequency of use of telehealth service (such as; never, hardly ever, often). That is, their clientโ€™s level of satisfaction with the service is high or low. Issues of technology or the quality of care(Ghorayeb et al., 2021). Recommendations for telehealth to enhance the experience of patients with special attention on the elderly.

MTHD 8003 Assignment Research Paper: Topic Submission

MTHD 8003 Assignment Research Paper: Topic Submission

MTHD 8003 Assignment Research Paper: Topic Submission Student Name Franklin University MTHD 8003 Professor Name Date Integration of Telehealth Services in Home Health Care: A Qualitative Exploration Applying telehealth services in the field of home health care has changed the approach to patient treatment, especially when it comes to elderly patients. With the increasing popularity of telehealth, including after a pandemic, it is crucial to identify its effectiveness in improving patient outcomes and satisfaction. In this study, the focus will be on the role of telehealth technologies in increasing the quality of care, engaging patients, and increasing satisfaction and self-efficacy among elderly patients requiring home health care services. As a result, the study aims to present the positive and negative impacts of telehealth, so that the overall feasibility of telehealth in a home care environment should be determined. It is therefore important to understand these dynamics for enhanced health delivery and well-being of the increasing elderly population through advanced health care solutions. Drawing from the ideas presented in this module on qualitative design and the readings, videos, and materials viewed, the following possibilities for the collection and use of artifacts could greatly enhance the research on telehealth in home health care (Adeghe et al., 2024). For example, forms filled out at the end of telehealth encounters can offer numerical values that, when qualitatively assessed, highlight more meaning about patient satisfaction and dissatisfaction. Telehealth recordings provide direct observation collected with patients’ consent, which is necessary to analyze the interaction between patients and healthcare providers. Furthermore, patient diaries might offer valuable insights into the everyday experiences of Telemedicine and the psychological and practical consequences for patients. These artifacts coupled with structured interviews can give an understanding of how these telehealth services are perceived and how they have changed the experience of home health care positively or negatively. The target group for this paper on telehealth in home health care is mainly the elderly patients who rely on these services to meet their daily health needs. Furthermore, families and carers of such patients are also crucial stakeholders in determining the overall effects of telehealth. Another advantage of this dual focus is to obtain a wider range of perspectives and effects derived from the integration and effectiveness of telehealth technologies in the home setting (Chike-Harris et al., 2021). Thus, the qualitative examination of the topic of telehealth within home health care can be multivariate to gain a rich understanding of the experiences of patients and caregivers. Undertaking interviews of elderly patients and their carers in the form of semi-structured interviews can provide the researcher with narrative data on the patients’ and the carer’s engagement with telehealth technologies daily. Research approaches such as live and real-time observations which involve the physical monitoring of telehealth encounters may help the researchers to understand the actual and real-life concerns and issues that converge when people engage in telehealth encounters. Furthermore, in the follow-up interviews, the invitation to provide pictures or videos can support participants’ descriptions of the impact of telehealth in their lives, as they remember the experiences that matter to them in a more detailed and emotionally rich way. This form of qualitative assessment of the telehealth concept will assist in revealing not just the practical usage but also the effects on elderly patients’ mental and psychological states that receive home health care services. Repetition There are several answers, at least two of which many respondents mentioned as being effective: Workshops/seminars and peer support. Question 4: How do you believe mental health campaigns impact students’ willingness to seek help for mental health issues? Common Themes Some impact: Campaign respondents said they perceive them as improving awareness, not very much to encouraging students to seek help. Willingness depends on various factors: One respondent said, โ€˜Campaigns raise willingness,โ€™ while others said that they barely did so (Khan et al., 2020). Repetition The majority of the respondents agree with the fact that the majority of the campaigns are Awareness-creating but do not compel the students to seek Assistance. Question 5: What challenges do you think students face when trying to access mental health resources on campus? Common Themes Stigma and Embarrassment: Reasons for non-use of professional support included self-stigma as cited by numerous respondents. Lack of Awareness or Access: Other respondents identify a lack of awareness of resources, costs and time conflict as some of the impediments (Khan et al., 2020). Repetition The reasons mentioned most often are stigma, lack of awareness, and practical difficulties. Question 6: What suggestions do you have for improving mental health campaigns or resources available to students? Common Themes Increase Workshops and Events: The majority of respondents propose to enhance the number of workshops and peer support groups (Venegas et al., 2022). Improve Confidentiality and Privacy: Several of the respondents highlight confidentiality as regards seeking assistance. Increase Accessibility and Affordability: A few of the respondents explained that it is important to operate more cheaply and provide more services. Repetition There are four areas of improvement in employee assistance programs highlighted below; workshops, peer support, and better confidentiality. Question 7: Describe any changes in your perception of mental health as a result of awareness campaigns at your school. Common Themes Minimal Change: The majority of the respondents express the least change in their perception of mental health through campaigns (Venegas et al., 2022). Increased Acceptance: One respondent said, they discovered mental health problems to be more acceptable and less stigmatized than in the past. Repetition The majority of the respondents remain non-permanent hence, there is no extreme change in their perception most of the time. Question 8: How can universities better support students who are struggling with mental health issues? Common Themes More Workshops and Peer Support: A common idea to address the topic is an increase in the number of workshops and peer support groups (Kohrt et al., 2020). Increase Mental Health Services and Reduce Stigma: One is encouraging service delivery and the other is the removal of stigma on services or being a service user. Repetition The major recommendations suggest increased availability of services and access to peer support. Analyze Themes and Patterns From the responses, the succeeding key themes develop: Workshops and Seminars: It was mentioned earlier, though, that people seem to agree that increasing the number of workshops and seminars is a good idea to improve mental health literacy. Peer Support: Several respondents thought that peer-to-peer support is important for minimizing stigma and maximizing readiness to seek help (Kohrt et al., 2020). Barriers to Access: Self-identification process, lack of information, time constraints, and cost are repeatedly reported as challenges to mental health care. Minimal Campaign Impact: Though respondents think that campaigns indeed help to raise awareness, those people

MTHD 8003 Assignment Synthesis of Preliminary Findings

MTHD 8003 Assignment Synthesis of Preliminary Findings Student Name Franklin University MTHD 8003 Professor Name Date Synthesis of Preliminary Findings The analysis is based on the data that was procured from a survey conducted a few days ago about telehealth services. The survey sought to capture the perceptions of the community regarding telehealth, the advantages, the setbacks, and what is deemed to be lacking in this area. Thus, by understanding the responses, we can get information like how it is possible to improve in terms of telehealth care services, particularly concerning the elderly population. Observations from Data Key observations Observations from Data Telehealth utilization When analyzing the survey outcomes, specific information about the use of telehealth services can be identified among the respondents at different levels. Participants usage levels The participants attested to a variety of telehealth utilization with some expressing that they used it often while others almost never or never at all. Patient comment One of the most common comments that patients make regarding the use of telehealth is time saved, as well as being able to consult with their healthcare provider while at home (Batko et al., 2022). Accessibility issue Nevertheless, some issues appear with accessibility, particularly for elderly patients, which indicates further opportunities for development. Key Impressions Based on the material, one can identify two key sentiments concerning telemedicine: the positive attitude towards its availability, while some doubts remain regarding its efficiency and accessibility, especially for elderly individuals (Kraus et al., 2021). This dichotomy highlights a critical area for further exploration: though telehealth is appreciated for convenience, there are essential problems of equity and access for all population categories. These impressions indicate that telehealth services require further flexibility depending on the users.ย  Type of Analysis For this kind of survey, it was possible to apply a mixed-methods approach where qualitative and quantitative data both have been used. Therefore, the use and recommendation of telehealth can be measured in terms of quantity. In qualitative settings, the free-text responses addressing user experiences and areas of change can be categorized based on common patterns (Batko et al., 2022). Taken together, these two approaches should assist in offering a more complete picture of the usersโ€™ satisfaction and where improvements can be made.ย  Visualization Ideas Bar graphs could illustrate the nature of the usage of telehealth among adults; on the other hand, pie graphs could indicate what percentage of the respondents would recommend the use of telehealth (Vellido, 2019). This is a categorical approach that could be adopted to emphasize the frequently mentioned benefits and challenges in the open-ended responses. Judging by the results of the survey, this variety of visual aids will assist in the qualitative and quantitative communication of the results.ย  Conclusion The survey data reveals that while people find the telehealth services useful and convenient, they are concerned with their accessibility and inclusiveness, especially for the elderly. These insights bring out the need to make telehealth accessible to everyone through enhancing convenience. Both qualitative and quantitative insights, as well as different types of presenting data, can provide a better understanding of how telehealth is perceived at the moment and how it needs to be further developed to enhance user satisfaction.
